NZ COVID -19 PROTECTION FRAMEWORK (TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM)
Vaccination Certificates:
The Government has introduced My Vaccine Pass vaccination certificates and in order to run the BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge under the Traffic Light System, (which we can do under both an orange and green light) there is a requirement to make sure all attendees and personnel are fully vaccinated, which we will do using the NZ Pass Verifier.
With confirmation from NZ Government that New Zealand will move to the Traffic Light System framework from 11.59pm on Thursday 2 December 2021, (and unless otherwise advised), all participants, staff and volunteers attending BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge will be required to provide their My Vaccine Pass as evidence that they have been fully vaccinated. This also applies to anyone attending one of our designated facilities such as the Expo at the Great Lake Centre and our Event Village.
Non-Vaccinated
We appreciate people’s right to choose, however with the regulations of the Traffic Light System, we need to ensure that all people attending the event will be fully vaccinated. If you will not have a My Vaccine Pass on the day, please contact us directly at info@cyclechallenge.com and we will be happy to work with you on possible options.
